We do a lot of work with vintage and modern livestock trailers; from complete refurbs to moderate renovations to minor repairs. Something that is important to us is repairing or rebuilding your trailers to last. As much as we like you, we didn’t do our job right if you’re back with us, in the shop, needing wear and tear repairs on something we recently fixed or built for you.
While we can control the quality of the craftsmanship, something that is often out of our control is the quality of the raw materials and miscellaneous products used within a refurb project. Over the years we’ve seen product quality alter. Often, it’s not for the best. When local companies get bought out or certain operations get outsourced we can see the shift from a focus on quality to a focus on pure profit.
One of our favorite product brands we have worked within recent years that we find to be far superior to anything else on the market is Shelby Trailer Services’ rubber flooring for livestock trailers.

While they started making their products in 1999 they’ve been operating in the trailer industry since 1972.
