Qualified Shop Welder
The Dark Horse Metal Works welding and custom fabrication team is looking to hire a qualified shop welder who has experience in welding and fabricating materials using various kinds of equipment. We are a small locally owned welding shop that prides itself in our quality workmanship and ability to serve each and every customer with the highest level of respect and service. The ideal candidate would be able to reflect those same values.
Qualifications:
-
Proficient in MIG welding, layout, and material processing is a must

Experience reading blueprints & diagrams is a plus

Has general mechanical knowledge/ability; including trailers and suspension components

Trailer service repair experience is a plus

Must present a good work ethic and willingness to learn

Attention to detail

Be able to follow any and all safety policies

Able to work both independently and with others as a team

Must be able to pass a drug test
Shop Hand
The Dark Horse Metal Works welding and fabrication team is looking to hire a shop hand to join our team who is willing to provide assistance on a variety of tasks and projects.
Qualifications:
-
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
-
Present a good work ethic

Able to read a tape measure & perform basic math skills
-
Fully able to lift materials repeatedly throughout their shift

Perform routine shop tasks as needed
-
A general interest in welding is a plus

Be respectful and communicate clearly

Follow any and all safety policies

Able to work both independently and with others as a team

Capable of working in a variety of temperatures and conditions

Must be able to pass a drug test
